NC Conseil is at the heart of the research ecosystem. For ten years, its director founded and chaired the foundation of the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, France's leading scientific university. He is still a member of the board of the Sorbonne Université foundation, which succeeded it. He also created and raised his own venture capital fund (€60M AUM), of which he still chairs the management company. He has advised and continues to advise a selection of the most promising start-ups, particularly in life sciences, energy and the environment (Agri tech).
